Who Is A Truly Empowered Woman
The last few weeks have been interesting as I witness all these events being hosted for women empowerment and the celebration of women. Yet at the same time, I see women turning against other women, refusing to give support, refusing to help, refusing to show any compassion, yet wanting to strut their stuff with their reels on Instagram and tic toc’s claiming to be superwomen!!
The term woman empowerment is being used so loosely, that one wonders if the term is even understood.
Many think empowerment is related to career women and women with big titles and money.
Wrong.
Empowerment is the actually process of improving your character to make choices and outcomes without the fear of others and without the fear of societal pressures.
Woman empowerment is when a woman can say, “I can and I will†living life on her terms.
She creates her own roadmap not fearing what others make think or say, and does not care if the invitations to their so called “parties†will strike her off the list.
Women empowerment is when you recognize the risks ahead for choices you will make, and the price you may pay, but you know that is the route you need to take.
Women empowerment is when you are there are a support system for others around you, be it in moral spirit or in person or just a listening voice without judgement.
Women empowerment is when you do not care about the social circles and are able to stand alone at a party and enjoy your own company.
Women empowerment is a woman who will fight for what is right. She will not live in the shadow of others, or try and be Miss Popular with a society that is fake, judgmental and dramatic.
She will be the best version of herself, creating her own persona and roadmap to how she wants to live.
